We are hosting a special drinks reception in London on 9th October to mark the launch of our new collaborative organisation, ‘EdelGive with SIX’.
We all recognise that our biggest challenges can not be fixed with old models, old ideas or by one sector alone. And in the uncertain and unfamiliar time, this is even more important. We need bold actions, we need to organise ourselves in new ways and we need fresh thinking and new perspectives, not based on traditional Western centric approaches to problem solving. That’s why SIX and EdelGive Foundation have embarked on this innovative new journey together.
EdelGive with SIX is a paradigm shifting partnership – an attempt to organise differently. We are combining the strengths of a strongly rooted innovative philanthropic organisation, with an agile global innovation network with 15+ years of social innovation thought-leadership and global field building expertise. EdelGive with SIX has one foot in London and another in India, and an outward looking approach to learning and exchange – a strong base to host and facilitate global collaborations. Together we’ve become a new type of cross-sector, truly global organisation, powered by an organisation in the global South.
Join us from 6.30pm on 9th October at The Market Coffee House & Bar (50-52 Brushfield Street, Spitalfields, E1 6AG) to mark this moment. Naghma Mulla, EdelGive’s CEO will be there along with many of SIX Board members from around the world, including Marcus Lux, Bosch Foundation, Germany (SIX Chair); Francois Bonnici, World Economic Forum, Switzerland; Kriss Deiglmeier, Thought leader, US; Harvey Koh, Dalberg. Geoff Mulgan (SIX founder) and several other social innovation leaders across Europe will also attend.
