The SIMF Social Investment Lab will bring together a carefully selected group of around 30 impact investors, philanthropists, policymakers, entrepreneurs and ecosystem leaders in Lisbon (15–16 October 2026) to explore financing models that bridge the gap between grant funding and impact investment. While the SIMF Social Investment Lab is an invitation-only event, we want to broaden the conversation and create an opportunity for additional voices to join us. We're bringing together 100 ecosystem builders – practitioners, researchers, funders and policymakers, all working to further social innovation around the world in Nairobi this year. This convening comes ten years after the original SIX Wayfinder, which gathered 160 leaders from 34 countries to ask what the field should achieve by 2027. This time, we're not looking back – we're looking forward, honestly about what's been done and urgently about what's next.
