Pollution, caused by the level of solid waste, is taking its toll on many islands in the Maldives. This latest project encourages sustainable approaches to solid waste management and the step by step composting guide that has been produced aims to address the problem of solid waste and offer a practical guide to re-using waste as an environmentally sustainable fertilizer.
