WHAT MUSIC CAN WE ASSEMBLE, IMPROVISE AND EXPERIENCE TOGETHER NOW THAT WILL REIMAGINE OUR WAY FORWARD TOGETHER?
Over the next six months, we are devising a metaphorical symphony — four movements that will help us grasp meaning and shape action together in urgent times.
We are tuning into the social innovation happening now.
We are tuning in to how we are renewing our relationships with each other and the earth.
First Movement — Tuning. What are we hearing that moves us?
In this movement, we listen to local activity around the world.
Our journey starts by uncovering, collecting and understanding what is happening and how it is happening in different local contexts around the world. We focus on understanding the present. We listen deeply. We attune to shared and aligned directions.
What tone are different communities taking in the work they are doing around the globe? What activities and messages are we tuning into? What is resonating? What seems out of tune right now? And where are we in harmony?
Second Movement — Ensembling. What are we learning across different contexts giving rise to desired futures?
In this movement, we begin ensembling globally — trying out different sounds, instruments, methods, approaches and arrangements to play together.
This is where the global exchange begins — people come together from different contexts to delve deeper into examples and actions, exchanging knowledge, resources, and insights, uncovering lessons from each other, and working out: What is timely now? What is having its time now? What is influencing our future?
