A four-day international festival of ideas, solutions and debate exploring what happens when Social Innovation meets Collaboration, and how together we can meet some of society’s most pressing challenges
2– 5 September 2014, London
The programme is available to download from here NOW and you can sign up to sessions by visiting the website
During three days in autumn this year, SIX, Collaborate and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation have designed a festival that will bring together the ‘unusual suspects’ –individuals and organisations from youth clubs to royal societies who are making real social change happen by working together in new and different ways.Blending international expertise and innovation with local thinking and practice from across the UK, this festival will feature a collection of interlinked events that will draw out the ways in which collaboration and social innovation can work in sync - and ask how this can help address some of the most difficult issues we face in society today.
We will be working with the experts in the field to host a variety of sessions that explore the process of collaboration in practice including Battersea Arts Centre, Big Society Capital, The Cabinet Office, Central St. Martin’s, Design Council, FutureGov, Local Government Association, Locality, Maslaha, Microsoft, NCVO, Nesta, Social Innovation Generation, Sunderland City Council, Social Life, The Hub King’s Cross, The Point People, TSIP, The Young Foundation, URBACT, and many more.
