The 30 semi-finalists of the 2016 European Social Innovation Competition have been selected. They will now receive support to progress their ideas and compete for the 3 prizes of €50,000 to be awarded in October 2016.

The theme for this year's European Social Innovation Competition is Integrated Futures, encouraging great ideas to foster refugees and migrants integration.

Of the 1095 entries to the competition, the judges have had a tough time choosing the 30 semi-finalists for the competition.

They all deserve to be supported, but the competition is thrilled to present the 30 projects which are considered the most promising ones.

The selected semi-finalists reflect the great diversity of solutions which were sourced from 36 countries altogether. They provide responses to needs in fields such as skills development, entrepreneurship, access to the labour market, housing or health services.
