Social innovation is a burgeoning sector in Brazil, with more and more people thinking and talking about the field.
On September 20th, 4 Brazilian organisations will hold a social innovation seminar in Sao Paulo to help demystify the concept of social innovation in Brazil and to encourage participants to be more and more involved in the sector. These organisations are a corporate foundation (Instituto Sabin), a family foundation (Instituto Jatobas) and two innovation organisations (Sense Lab and Mobiliza).
100 guests will attend the day of talks and workshops on social innovation, who have been selected from the field, encompassing the business, non-profit, government and academic sectors.
SIX’s Executive Director, Louise, will speak at the event about SIX’s work as a global social innovation exchange, as well as providing a global perspective on social innovation – it’s evolution over the past decade and what it looks like around the world.
