Social Innovation for Resilience – the Taiwan Approach

Register for our first Global Dialogue with Audrey Tang and Geoff Mulgan here.

As part of SIX’s work to build Asia’s Social Innovation narrative, we are excited to launch our first Global Dialogue –  Social Innovation for Resilience – the Taiwan Approach

Taiwan – a country that we rarely talk about. But in 2020, we believe most of us will recognise this country on the internet or in the news. This is because of their marvellous job done in response to COVID-19 compared to other countries. As a country so close to China, they have built a solid foundation of social innovation over the past few years, and this has been leveraged to achieve this success in response to COVID-19.

SIX is honoured to have invited Audrey Tang, Digital Minister of the Taiwan government and Geoff Mulgan, Professor at UCL on Collective Intelligence and Social Innovation in conversation. The dialogue between Audrey Tang and Geoff Mulgan will shed light on how collective intelligence and trust-building enables Taiwan to be resilient.
