About this event
Europe is facing many imminent challenges, from energy crisis to mass displacement. Social innovation is needed now more than ever to address these various challenges. We believe that a strong social innovation infrastructure is key to supporting these social solutions. This event ‘Infrastructuring social innovation: Learnings from the Baltic Sea region’ is designed to enhance learning and exchanges around building a strong social innovation infrastructure.
This event will be held on the 5th of October in Tallinn, Estonia. It will be a full day event, from 9am to 4.30pm. This event will focus on transnational exchanges in the Baltic Sea region to share good practices around how to create support infrastructures for social innovation. There will be a combination of keynotes and interactive workshops for you to be able to network with one another.
This event is part of a European project, The European Social Innovation Alliance, funded in part through the European Social Fund (ESF) and the EU programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI). This project aims to enhance the conditions for the development of social innovation through the establishment of ‘Social Innovation national competence centres’ and to work towards a pan-European social innovation infrastructure on all levels – locally, regionally, nationally, and transnationally.
