Arts based social innovation & collaboration opportunities

This event is meant to inspire social innovators to incorporate arts based approaches in their stakeholder engagement work and vice versa.

About this event

SI Connect is a collaboration between GCU (Glasgow Caledonian University) and SIX (Social Innovation Exchange) as part of an EU-funded programme supporting the establishment of national social innovation ‘competence centres’ across Europe. We hope this event can be useful to any socially engaged artist, social innovator or stakeholder who is UK based and interested in the intersection of participatory art and social innovation.

The public event ‘Arts based social innovation & collaboration opportunities’ will be an opportunity to come together, share examples of effective arts based social innovation processes and how they can be extremely impactful in community engagement work. This event aims to inspire social innovators to incorporate arts based approaches in their stakeholder engagement work as well as for socially engaged artists to consider applying their practices in different contexts. This event aims to be a platform to connect different disciplines.
