The Fondation Mirella et Lino Saputo is based in St-Leonard, Quebec, Canada. This charitable foundation provides assistance to sick and disabled children and the elderly. The Foundation is also involved in different social entrepreneurship initiatives. In October 2015, the Fondation Mirella et Lino Saputo became one of the partners of the philanthropic organization, Centraide of Greater Montreal, along with another foundation, in a Collective Impact Program. With a funding of $17 million over five years, this alliance aims to increase investment in certain Montreal neighbourhoods to reduce the poverty rate. In September 2016, the Foundation along with 7 other organisations collaborated in the creation of the Social Innovation House, that will be located in Montréal with regional representation in the province of Québec.
