Description: Alessandra is Head of Research at the think tank Demos (www.demos.co.uk) and a fellow of the Young Foundation. Her research interests are immigration, community cohesion and neighbourliness. Before joining Demos, Alessandra was research associate at the Young Foundation and research fellow at the department of international Relations of the University of Birmingham, UK. She has a Masters in International Development and a doctorate in international relations. She is writing a book on immigration in Europe.
